Applications
The high-speed shredder has been specially designed for material, such as:
- fresh wood
- green waste
- branches and bushes up to 300 mm diameter
- forest residue
- bark
- waste wood
Material feed
The raw material is loaded directly into the automatically operated feed hopper and goes through the feed roller into the shredding rotor. This principle guarantees continuous and permanent material feeding. If the material is too dense, the feed belt revs are automatically regulated and adjusted to suit the material, to prevent blockages in the rotor. The rotor is equipped with bolt-on hammers, which are easy and quick to change. They produce an end product of less than 50 mm*.

Chassis
A special feature is built into the chassis. This HAMMEL-Shredder is equipped with a wheel axle and is moved by a drive roller, situated behind the wheels.
