All HAMMEL-shredders are typical for:

• Our primary shredders are equipped with a diesel-hydraulic drive with Caterpillar engines or with an electric-hydraulic drive. The speed control of the shafts works in three steps and depends on the load.

• Machine operating by 4-channel remote control. The electric version is also available with a separate power unit.

• Increased remote control with different function, for example magnet lift / lower, belt lift / lower, move tracks, speed control, etc.

• … via hopper with a volume of approx. 7 m³ - 11 m³ (depending on the type) formed like a hollow. One part is build as a tilting hopper. The clearance angle is max. 43°. If you choose a stationary plant, it is possible to build a special charging hopper.

• HAMMEL primary shredders are equipped with a wide discharge belt from 800 mm to 1.400 mm (depending on the type). The height of discharge is max. 3.400 mm – 4.400 mm. For transport the belt will be hydraulically folded in.

• We offer the right shafts for each material and final product. Throughput and size of the final product depend on the different types of shafts. Generally, a final product size of approx. 150 mm – 400 mm can be reached.
